We are stunningly free

if we so believe in our majesty.

Are we pathetic slaves

who have forgotten our hallowed destiny?

We are Star-Dust walking

and we pretend that we are dirt.

Have we become the weaklings 

our authentic Mother warned us about?

Much to her chagrin and our disgrace,

we've consciously forfeited our wings.

What a colossal waste.

a sort of throbbing; in curiosity I inquire....
